When i have my UI/Front-End dev hat on ??‍?, one of the things i find intriguing is what error pages on websites look like.  Error pages are basically as the word suggests. Think of it as the page that’s displayed when:

  • The link to a page has been removed or cant be found,
  • The link to the page is wrong or
  • You get too adventurous and decided to add a random word at the end of a url  just to see the design creativity on the Error page – Me ?

For the most part, people who call the shots on how an organization’s site should look like never focus on this page. I think of this page as a place a UI designer can flex their creative muscles while on someone else’s turf ?.

I went on a quick experiment to see creative Error pages on some of Kenya’s recognized organizations.

P.S. I am sure i have left out some really awesome ones on this list ??
